Whatever is written in this blog is not against any person, caste, religion, or political party. This is mainly one of the many questions that we Indians face. Which shakes the mind or brain of all the countrymen. The traumatic death of ten newborn babies in Bhandara Government Hospital hit back the mind, The democracy that we created was failed. We could not save our children again. We want to apologize to all those children. Forgive us This blog has been written to remember them and realize how we all failed. We have to understand our responsibility only then we can prevent such an accident. If by this post ,we hurt anybody by any way, we apologize for that.
Sorry ,We couldn’t save you
Very sad news for all of us, a sudden fire broke out in the Sick New Born Care Unit (SNCU) at Bhandara district Hospital in Maharashtra at around 1.30 am on Saturday. In this accident, unfortunately, ten new-borns died. The preliminary investigation revealed that three children were burnt to death while seven died due to suffocation.
It is reported that there were eight girls and two boys among the ten dead new-borns. Seven new-borns were saved. Two female health workers have also been seriously injured. The cause of this accident is currently being considered as an electric short circuit.
Such sufferings have happened many times throughout our country. Everyone expresses regret for the loss of life.
After witnessing the incidents of fire in Gujarat; the Supreme Court of India had directed that every state must keep a check on fire safety arrangements and should appoint fire officers in the hospitals. But our state government has such a burden of work that they are unable to follow such guidelines.
Now after this incident, it has been said that major action will be taken against the guilty. Instructions have also been given to conduct a fire audit of all the hospitals in the state.
All the politicians in the state and the country have expressed grief for this disaster. The Health Minister of the state government has announced a compensation of Rs. 5 lakh each to the family of the deceased children.
Politicians of the opposition have said that demand for a fire extinguisher and fire protection system was proposed for the particular hospital, which was not approved by the government.
Only a mother can understand the pain of the mother. No one can understand how a mother keeps her baby in her womb for 9 months.
The moment of happiness that everyone waited for 9 months turned into mourning at the moment.
Parents spend their entire lives with their children. But whose fault was it that caused this accident? Claims and counterclaims will continue to be based on the situation of political people.
Nobody can alleviate the pain, but the state government can do justice by taking appropriate action against the culprits. People also have demanded that, the family should get compensation of Rs. 1 crore.,
There are two types of classes in our country. One who relies on government facilities and the other who can afford private facilities ,there is a major difference between private and government facilities.
A large section of the country is dependent on government facilities. Private facilities are not affordable for everyone. But people have to spend everything in a private hospital for quality treatment.
As the government’s hospital are full of poor locals so nobody given much attention to quality treatment and facilities.
As per the experience ,it takes a long time always to build any government hospital, and most of the time they are functional without minimum facilities.
Doctors in government hospitals also helpless due to a lack of facilities. Government doctors and officials ,keep informing to the government system regarding backlogs, but the government personal does not consider them as important.
whereas private hospitals are fully equipped and constructed at a faster rate. As all knows major private hospitals belong to these government politicians indirectly.
Such a private hospital has all the amenities. The SNCU at Bhandara district hospital was functional since 2015,but it does not have fire protection facilities. Government can avoid such incident either by not providing SNCU facilities to poor people or by providing fully functional , secure SNCU .
Due to the Corona epidemic, everyone is adopting extreme security. It is condemnable to make such a mistake at such a time. Who is responsible for this accident? What do you think? Why is such a situation of a majority government hospital in the state?. Somewhere we people are also majorly responsible for such incidents, by not taking care of laws and rules regarding fire hazards .
Both the government and the opposition should take responsibility for this. Everyone of us should make efforts to restrict such an accident in future .
